I am really happy with this new set - I bought to practice with a friend of mine who had a stroke and I thought it would benefit his brain health. I like particularly her heavier pieces as it makes it easier for him to move. The set arrived quickly without blemish.

Chess is a highly contested lunchtime activity in our school and we were constantly running out of sets. I purchased 4 of these and the students love them. They are larger than our others but are perfect for when they play on the floor. Fold away neatly and have a zippered pouch to hold the pieces when not in use. Would buy again!

Dont get cheap wooden pieces, get these instead. The peices are plastic but feel very high quality in the hand with their double weighting. Much better experience for the same price.

The board is serviceable, the pieces slide very nicely which I love.

The classic shaped Pieces have a really nice feel and are well finished. Couldn’t be better. The bag supplied could be a little bigger and if the set was supplied in a cardboard box that would be good too. Folding board is fine.
