Description

Draughts at giant scale. These discs are sized to the full giant board, thick enough to stack for a king, and made from the same weatherproof plastic as the chess pieces, so they live outside with them. They come with spindles to stack them on for storage, which also work as handles when a piece is crowned.

Care & setup outdoors

The pieces

Built for outdoors, so these are the exception to most of the rules above.

Hose them down, or wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap.
No solvents or abrasive cleaners.
Sunlight is fine. The plastic carries a UV-protective film.
If your pieces are weighted with water, empty them before long storage and before frost.
If weighted with sand, use dry sand and keep the cap closed.
Cover or store the set if it will not be used for months.
Check pieces stand level before play. Soft ground and long grass topple them.
