Sheesham is a warm brown wood with a visible grain, and against pale boxwood it gives the classic look of a wooden chess set at a friendly price. The knights carry real detail, and the two sizes suit a mid-size or a full-size board. One customer put them on a Rex Noir board and said they looked at home.

Dust with a soft, dry cloth, wiping along the grain.
Do not use detergents, solvents, spray polish or silicone furniture sprays.
Never let water sit on the surface. On veneered and inlaid boards it can lift the veneer.
Keep away from direct sunlight, heaters and air conditioning vents. Sun fades timber unevenly and dry heat can open joints.
Avoid big swings in humidity. Timber moves.
Store flat or upright and supported, not leaning against a wall.
On folding and storage boards, do not force hinges, latches or drawers.
Keep the felt bases dry.

Great quality peices for value. Elegant, classic look with beautifully designed pieces including detailing on knight pieces. Brown pieces look good in person with light coloured wood. 85mm pieces perfectly sized and look good with Rex Noir 45cm board also ordered. Good packaging and very fast delivery.
