Description

Press the lever after your move and your opponent's time starts running, so the pressure passes back and forth with every turn. Play a straight countdown for a relaxed game, or switch on bonus time, a few seconds handed back after each move, so a tight game gets played right to the end.

A big display, readable from across the room
Every common time control built in, plus your own custom settings
Works with any two-player game, from chess to Scrabble

Best for families starting out, and for schools and clubs buying clocks on a tight budget.

How to use

38 ready-made settings, plus one you can program yourself: plain countdown, bonus, delay, a limit on how many moves fit into a time, and staged times that change part way through a game. A bonus adds a few extra seconds to your clock before each of your moves, so a won game is not lost on the last second. A delay instead holds your clock still before it starts running down. Choose a setting number with plus and minus, or hold the middle button for three seconds to change anything. Two AA batteries, not included.

Pro Digial Chess Timer

I must thank Chessworld for their speedy delivery of m purchase of the Pro Digital Chess Timer, it is exactly what I need to help retrain myself in the complexities of Chess. Easy to use with a handy book for times. I’m very happy. I must also thank Chessworld with their patience when I mixed up my original order. I can certainly recommend this clock…not dear and it is an excellent option for club players.

Leap chess clock

I'm very happy with my new Leap chess clock. It feels sturdy and the buttons clearly do what they are supposed to do. With just 3 buttons on the front, each button has several roles. In addition there are lots of ways of using the clock. This boils down to a steep learning curve for those, like me, who are new to chess clocks.

Very professional timer

Very well built excellent quality professional timer. 2 batteries for reliable operation. Nice to touch. A number of preset duration game setups for easy and fast game start. I am happy.
