Granada Studio Chess Set - 35cm Walnut Chess Board with 75mm Plastic Staunton Pieces

The Granada Studio is one of our most compact sets, made for the kind of space a larger board would swamp - a studio, a small apartment, or a corner of the coffee table. The board is the heart of it: a handmade Spanish chessboard, inlaid from real Walnut and Sycamore, deep brown squares set against pale cream ones, finished in a soft matte varnish that lets the grain show through. It's the sort of board you'll happily leave out on display between games.

It comes with our 75mm Staunton Chessmen in White and Black - the smaller version of the most popular chess pieces we've ever sold. They're moulded from hard-wearing plastic that takes years of handling, packing away, and setting back up without chipping or fading, so the set keeps its looks with next to no care. A zip-up bag is included to pack the pieces away between games.
