Beautiful, Solid and a Pleasure to Play On
I absolutely love this chess set. The pieces feel sturdy, well weighted and great in the hand when moving them around the board. The larger 50 cm board really enhances the playing experience and makes everything feel much more substantial and enjoyable. Every chess piece in my set is beautifully finished and arrived without any noticeable defects. I also really appreciate the storage box and its soft lining, which gives me confidence placing it on surfaces such as a glass table without worrying about scratching anything. The craftsmanship, solid construction and weight of the chessboard really impressed me. It feels like a proper quality chess set and far exceeded my expectations. The larger, well-designed pieces are especially enjoyable to use compared with smaller sets where you almost have to grab the pieces with your fingertips. Overall, it has that satisfying, premium feel that makes sitting down for a game of chess much more enjoyable. Very happy with my purchase and definitely worthy of 5 stars.
