Our biggest chess set. The king stands waist high on a primary school child, tall enough to see from across a park or a school yard, yet light enough for a child to carry. The pieces are classic Staunton shape, the standard every competition uses, so anyone who plays knows each piece at a glance.
- Weatherproof plastic that handles sun, rain and wind
- A knob on top of every piece, so children can lift and move them
- Any piece can be bought alone, so a lost pawn is easy to replace
Best for schools, resorts and venues, and any space you want full of people having fun!

So happy with our recent purchase of both a chess set and draughts set from Chessworld in MOORABBIN. Now to get into the game
Excellent service and prompt delivery wry to regional location. We look forward to promoting to our future guests to lay outside
Idea behind purchasing was to keep Kids busy while their Parents checking our outdoor paving selection and works very well. Wonderful product with fast service especially considering our WA location
Our guests absolutely love this oversized, statement-making chess set! It’s strong, sturdy, and built to last — a true standout feature at our Airbnb. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned player, the large, easy-to-move pieces offer fun for all ages. It’s perfect for outdoor play and always draws smiles, photos, and a bit of friendly competition.
Of course, my family had to test it out too — and we loved it so much, we ended up buying a second set for our own home! This chess set is a guest favorite and a truly memorable part of the stay.
... its big.
Excellent quality.
Superfast overnight delivery interstate.
A smooth hassle free purchase.
Great "giant" chess set for home garden. Our chess board was made from 400mm square concrete pavers and this size fits very well - not too big, not too small. The pieces were very easy to order on-line, and we picked them up ourselves from the warehouse in Moorabbin. They came in 2 large boxes, easy to transport in a Ute or small trailer. Made from black ans white molded plastic, and all the bases screwed on OK and can be filled with water or sand for extra weight / stability. All the pieces looked good when unpacked, no defects or anything so it all seems good and they look great when all the bases were screwed on.
I guess the true test will be time - how will they look after 12 months or 12 years.
