This is a beautiful chess set. The board is nice and heavy with an elegant finish and a foam compartment to store the chess pieces safely. The chess pieces are heavy with a felt bottom, there are no mold lines that I could find. I would describe the pieces as more Renaissance than Medieval but the pictures of them clearly show that. A beautiful display set.
