This set’s solid wood manufacture and hand-craftsmanship together with its fidelity to official tournament play were an unbeatable combo. You can definitely feel their double weight, in black’s Anjan wood especially so. I can’t fault a single piece. They’re as a sophisticated chess set is meant to be.
