A sensational find
I spent a long time looking for a board to suit a vintage metal chess set. Finding something stylish that was not wood was difficult. This carbon fibre board (with the reliable Dal Rossi brand) is perfect! The safe storage area for my cherished pieces is a bonus. My largest pieces have a 5cm base and this 50cm board fits them perfectly. So do the storage compartments. The board was exceptional well package and posted out very promptly. The board has received many compliments across four generations. I have yet to play a game on the board and my pieces are heavy ... I am just hoping this sensational gloss finish does not scratch! If it does I'll get back to you :-)
