Sherlock Holmes Themed Chess Set - Studio Anne Carlton

The fictional private detective created by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle features as the King in this remarkable chess set.

His opponents are led by his arch enemy Professor Moriarty, with the fearsome Hound of the Baskervilles as the Knight.

Characters are based on the original drawings which appeared in Strand Magazine in 1890 to accompany the Sherlock Holmes stories. The set also features Mrs Hudson, Inspector Lestrade, Irene Adler and Colonel Moran.

As you expect from Studio Anne Carlton each piece is cast from a master mould, painstakingly hand carved by our master craftsmen. Levels of detail are superb.
